FRP packed column is a type of packed bed used to perform separation processes, such as absorption, stripping, and distillation. Features

a) High efficiency. About chlorine gas drying, max moisture content of single tower process is less than 150~400ppm.

b) Large gas flux of unit area. It can reduce the manufacturing cost of column.

c) Low pressure drop of the whole column. Pressure drop of the whole column with 5m packed layer is less than 100mm water-column.

d) Easy operation, good stability and reliability.

e) Good anticorrosion. FRP packed column is made of high polymer material.

f) Excellent performance. Inner parts of packed column is designed by our own patent, for example the structure of gas injection support is 3 dimensional structure with large open ratio that more than 100%

g) Good sealing and security.FRP column can be designed and produced into overall structure even though its diameter is more than 2m.

h) Multiple choice of column packing with good performance. The common packing includes PP cascade ring, PVC and CPVC teller rosette and PP corrugated structured packing.

It consists of tower body, filler, filler support, liquid distributor, middle support, redistributor, inlet & outlet etc.

Filler is the core of FRP tower, commonly are rasching ring, pall ring, arc saddle-shaped and rectangle saddle-shaped etc.

It has simple structure, bigger contact area between liquid and gas, longer contact time, less resistance, pressure loss is 300-700Pa, spraying density is 6-8m3/(m2/h).
