The structure of FRP horizontal tank consists of anti-corrosion barrier, reinforced structural layer and outside anti-aging layer. FRP horizontal tank is featured by good performance such as corrosion resistance, anti-leakage, weather resistance and so on, can resist many acids, alkalis, salts and organic solvents; it is made by filament winding process with 7~17µ filament, which can keep the same strength and decrease the fiber breakage rate. Through this winding method, the fiber content will reach to 80%, making the specific strength higher than that of steel, casting iron, plastic and so on. Its coefficient of thermal expansion almost as same as that of steel, while the coefficient of heat conduction is only 0.5% compared with steel. Thus we can see the FRP tank possesses excellent physical properties.
