Different Classifications of Fiberglass Tanks
Fiberglass tanks are forms of storage or process tanks. These tanks are specifically used as industrial containers serving the most general purposes. Such products are configured according to orientation, dimensions, placement, and wall configurations. Depending on the materials used during the construction, the tanks may be used for either short or long term purposes as well as for mixing, metering, dispensing and blending.
Fiberglass tanks are made from a set of processes. First, it starts with the so-called fiberglass reinforced polyester or FRP.
The FRP is made out of long glass fibers formed or embedded inside a resin. The good thing about this material is it can be transformed into a wide array of shapes. It is lightweight but very durable and can resist corrosion.
It is often used in conjunction with the tank's plastic material. With these traits of fiberglass, several forms of tanks are manufactured in the market.
